Driving Directions From SFO (Airport)

Getting to First Church from the San Francisco International Airport
is fairly straightforward. As soon you exit the airport, you want
to get onto Hwy 101 north, then take the I-380 junction to I-280 and
travel north until I-280 ends. I-280 merges into Hwy 1.
We are located at the intersection of Highway 1 and Lawton St., on
the opposite side of Hwy 1. There are no left turns on Hwy 1 so you'll
need to turn right on Moraga St. (before Lawton St.) and then make your first left
turn (18th Ave.), and then turn left on Lawton St. and cross Hwy 1. We're on the
right side. Park anywhere you can find parking.
- I-380 WEST/US-101 NORTH/SAN FRANCISCO(I-280) ramp towards SAN
FRANCISCO
- Merge on US-101 NORTH
- Take the I-380 WEST/SAN BRUNO(I-280) exit
- Merge on I-380 WEST
- Take the I-280 NORTH exit towards SAN FRANCISCO
- Merge on I-280 NORTH and continue towards the Golden Gate Bridge
(3.7 miles)
- Turn Right on MORAGA ST
- Turn Left on 18TH AVE
- Turn Left on LAWTON ST

Driving Directions (From the east
SF Bay)
Cross the Bay Bridge on Interstate 80 west. Keep on the freeway. Don't
exit off the freeway immediately. Don't exit at the Fifth-Street,
Harrison-Street, or Eighth-Street exits. Continue on the freeway until
you see a junction where the left fork leads to Highway 101 and the
right fork leads to Fell Street. Take the fork to Fell Street, and
don't exit the freeway until it comes to the end of the freeway, where
there are traffic signals. Go straight onto Fell Street and continue
on Fell.
Continue on Fell Street till you come to the Golden Gate Park "Y"
-- take the left "Y" and it winds around and becomes Lincoln
Way -- go west on Lincoln to 20th Avenue. Turn left on 20th Avenue
-- 4 blocks to Lawton Street. Church will be on corner of 20th Avenue
and Lawton. Park anywhere
